Solana Larsen is an experienced editor and writer with a strong background in journalism and internet advocacy. Currently, as Editor of the Internet Health Report at Mozilla since September 2016, Solana leads an open source initiative that documents and analyzes the state of the Internet through collaborative research. In addition, since October 2015, Solana serves as a Freelance Writer and Consultant for the Web We Want initiative at the World Wide Web Foundation. Previous roles include Managing Editor at Global Voices Online, Freelance Journalist at Danmarks Radio, and Commissioning Editor at openDemocracy.net. Solana's academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Journalism from City, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London.
