Tony Askar

Tony Askar has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2020. Tony has worked in various roles in different companies. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of California Berkeley in the Theoretical Astrophysics Department. In this role, they conducted simulations of galaxy formation and performed statistical analysis of data. Tony then continued their research in the Astrophysics Department at the same university, where they studied the morphological history of gas disks around spiral galaxies and developed software for data analysis.

In 2012, Tony briefly worked as a Software Engineer at Muze Corporation and Mpact. The following year, they joined Blackbaud as a Software Engineer, where they worked on SOAP/REST API and automated QA testing and CI processes. Tony also served as a Scrum master.
