Brett Scribner

Brett Scribner currently serves as the Principal and Strategic Advisor at Mr. Cooper, where responsibilities include acting as the Chief Tax Officer for the global enterprise since March 2020. Previously, Brett served as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Tax Director at U.S. Bank from July 2010 to March 2020, overseeing global tax planning, compliance, and risk management. Additional experience includes a role as Vice President of Corporate Finance at Tappan Merrill and Vice President of Corporate Tax and Real Estate at Deluxe Corporation, where Brett was responsible for global risk management and compliance. Early career highlights include positions as Tax Manager at Cray Research, Inc., and Tax Consultant at Deloitte & Touche. Brett holds a Master of Business Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Business, Accounting, from the UMN Carlson School of Management.
