Rebecca Jacobs Esq.

Rebecca Jacobs, Esq., SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience in the legal and human resources field. Rebecca is currently serving as the Director of Columbus, OH and General Counsel at MRA - The Management Association, where they provide HR services and supports organizations in building successful workplaces. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, College Relations at HRACO Human Resources Association of Central Ohio. Rebecca also worked at Employers Resource Association (ERA) which later merged with MRA, where they served as General Counsel and Director of the Columbus Office. Rebecca has also held various roles at Ohio State University as a lecturer for employment law courses. Rebecca has also worked as an Attorney at both Ulmer & Berne LLP and Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. Additionally, they have their own practice, Rebecca Jacobs LLC, where they work as a Training Consultant and Employment Law Attorney, providing counseling and developing customized training sessions for clients.

Rebecca Jacobs, Esq., SHRM-SCP, obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Vanderbilt University Law School from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 1991 to 1994. In addition to their educational background, Rebecca Jacobs also obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in July 2020.
