Dave Sprenkle

Dave is an outside member of our board of directors. He brings more than 35 years of civil experience to MSA, with expertise in strategic planning, project management and construction management.

Dave retired from Merrick & Company, an employee-owned, professional engineering, architecture, surveying and geospatial solutions firm. He held leadership positions such as business unit leader, chief administrative officer and chief operating officer while helping grow the company from 150 to 500 employees.

Dave also bring expertise to MSA from the federal markets, having served 32 years as a civil engineering officer in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a brigadier general after serving as the assistant adjutant general for the State of Colorado.

Currently, Dave is the owner of a Colorado consulting company, Keen Edge, LLC, which offers consulting, training, corporate governance and trustee support to architecture and engineering companies as well as non-profit organizations.

A native of Bellevue, Pa., Dave holds degrees from the United States Air Force Academy, the University of Southern California and the University of Denver.
