Rene Tan

Rene Tan has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. From 1994 to 2016, they worked for General Motors, starting as a Customer Service Executive and later holding roles as IT Manager/Internal Control, Aftersales Director, Regional Manager for Global Retail Integration, and Regional Head for Training in Vehicle Sales, Service, and Marketing. Since 2016, Rene has been with MSX International as the Operations Director for ASEAN, where they are responsible for managing and growing the Retail Network Solutions in the region.

Rene Tan has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing/Information Technology from the National University of Singapore, which was obtained from 1990 to 1993. Rene also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in International Finance from Oklahoma City University, completed from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, Rene has obtained certifications such as the Advance Certificate in Learning and Performance from Workforce Singapore in 2022 and the Critical IT Project Manager (Associate) from the Singapore Computer Society in 2003.
