Paul Mitchell Kelly has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Paul Mitchell most recently served as the Head of Experience Design at Mudbath starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Experience Design Director at CX Lavender from April 2020 to August 2020, where they led experience design and collaborated with various teams to create customer-centric outcomes.

From 2011 to 2019, Paul held multiple roles at WiTH Collective, including Head of Digital Experience, Head of Design & UX, and Digital Designer & Developer. During their time at WiTH Collective, they directed an award-winning UX Research and Experience Design team and utilized Design Thinking methodologies to extend creative campaigns into digital mediums. Paul Mitchell also worked at Spider Online as the Digital Design Director from 2005 to 2010, where they specialized in web, email, and digital campaign design.

Paul Mitchell Kelly began their design career at Bicycling Australia in 2003, where they worked as a Graphic Designer & Web Designer, focusing on designing ads and magazine layouts for various publications. Additionally, they developed and unified the brand identity for the company. Before that, they held positions at CJZ as a Graphic Designer and South Lanarkshire Council as a New Media Artist, where they worked on creating design collateral and developing creative projects involving film, animation, and web design.

In their early career, Paul worked as a Graphic Designer & Web Designer at Hilton Cordell Productions and a Graphic Designer, Class Demonstrator & Web Designer at the University of Technology Sydney. Paul Mitchell also served as a Studio Demonstrator at the University of Wollongong while pursuing their Masters degree.

Throughout their career, Paul has honed their skills in experience design, digital strategy, design thinking, and coding accessible websites. Paul Mitchell has extensive experience in working with various clients and platforms, providing consultancy, and applying human-centered approaches to create effective and meaningful online experiences.

Paul Mitchell Kelly's education history is as follows:

From 1992 to 1997, Paul attended St Gregory's College and obtained a Higher School Certificate.

In 1998, they enrolled in the University of Wollongong and pursued a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree with a focus on Graphic Design & New Media. Paul Mitchell completed this program in 2000.

Afterward, from 2000 to 2001, Paul continued their education at the University of Wollongong and achieved a Master of Creative Arts degree, specializing in Graphic Design & New Media.

In 2014, Paul attended General Assembly, where they participated in various workshops and bootcamps related to design thinking, lean UX, personas, and user journeys.

In 2015, they also attended General Assembly for a Wireframing and Prototyping workshop.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Paul has obtained additional certifications. In 2012, they received the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google. Later, in 2019, they completed a Strategic & Adaptive Leadership program at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
