Chris Keener

Chris Keener has a long and varied work experience in the media production industry. In 2021, they began working as the Head of MUD\\Films for MUD\\WTR, creating video content for the rapidly growing coffee-alternative. From 2019-2021, they served as the Creator and Guide for Goldenair Breathwork, leading groups at conscious music festivals and corporate wellness events. From 2014-2019, they were the Creative Director and Co-Founder of GoodFight Media, producing original content including documentary-style short films, commercials, and branded content. From 2017-2018, they were the Director and Executive Producer of the Netflix series 'We Speak Dance', exploring how dance connects people, places, and culture. From 2010-2014, they were the Director and Executive Producer for Goldenbear LLC, producing shortform films for clients such as National Geographic Channel and Discovery Production Group. From 2007-2010, they were a Producer for the National Geographic Channel, creating original short-form content and reversioning shows for online distribution.

Chris Keener attended Penn State University from 1997 to 1999, studying Advertising and PR. Chris then participated in the Semester at Sea program in 1999-2000, focusing on Global Studies. Chris completed their education at Temple University, where they earned a BA in Film Production from 2001 to 2004.
