Alvin Lau

Alvin Lau is a finance professional with extensive experience in aviation finance, currently serving as Director at MUFG within the Global Aviation Finance Office of the Asian Investment Banking Division since December 2022. Proficient in managing relationships with airlines and aircraft leasing companies across the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in South Asia and Oceania, Alvin Lau leads deal teams in originating, structuring, and executing complex aviation financing transactions. Prior to MUFG, Alvin Lau held the position of Director at BNP Paribas, where responsibilities included covering the Northeast Asia, Singapore, and Malaysia markets and managing the entirety of transaction processes. Alvin Lau's career also includes a role at Standard Chartered Bank as Senior Associate Director in Corporate Finance, focusing on the Indochina region, as well as experience in transaction advisory at EY and private banking at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Alvin Lau holds a Bachelor of Finance in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from The Australian National University and participated in an International Exchange Program at Maastricht University.
