Signe Sun Guts has a diverse work experience history. Signe Sun started their career as a Social and Health Care Assistant at Personale gruppen, vikarbureau from 2007 to 2008. Signe Sun then worked as a Social and Health Care Assistant at Hjemmeplejen Vanløse-Brønshøj-Husum from 2008 to 2013.

In 2015, they joined Novo Nordisk as an Academy Profession Trainee in Chemical and Biotechnical Science/Laboratory Technician Trainee. During their internship in Diabetes Complications Research, they worked with cell culture, optimized and validated an in vitro co-culture model of the glomerular filtration barrier, and used various techniques such as immunocytochemistry, fluorescent staining, permeability assay, microscopy, qPCR, mRNA extraction, and RT-PCR.

From 2018 to 2021, Signe worked as a Laboratory Technician at Orphazyme A/S. Currently, they are employed as a Laboratory Technician at Muna Therapeutics starting in September 2021.

Signe Sun Guts began their education in 2005 at the Social- og sundheds-uddannelses-centret Brøndby, where they earned a degree as a Social- og sundhedsassistent. In 2013, they attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, studying Math C and chemistry C. Signe Sun then pursued a degree at Professionshøjskolen Metropol - Metropolitan University College from 2014 to 2015, graduating as an Academy Profession graduate in Chemical and Biotechnical Science. In 2017, Signe enrolled at DTU - Technical University of Denmark to further their studies in Biotechnology and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. During the same year, they also completed courses in Math 0-B, Math A, and physics B at DTU.
