Thomas Cooper

Thomas Cooper has over 15 years of experience in the packaging industry. Thomas started their career as a Creative Director at Carded Graphics LLC, where they played a crucial role in transforming an outdated folding carton facility into a modern and competitive firm. Thomas successfully merged and managed the graphic design, structural design, and pre-press divisions, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced time to market.

After leaving Carded Graphics LLC, Thomas joined Rosetta Stone as a Project/Production Manager for Marketing Operations. Thomas oversaw the creation of packaging materials for global markets and collaborated with international teams to ensure alignment with local market needs. Thomas consistently met and exceeded annual corporate business objectives with stakeholders on print and packaging strategies.

Thomas then took on the role of Global Packaging Team Manager at Specialized Bicycle Components. Thomas directed all phases of packaging creation, implementation, and sustainability for a $2B product line. Thomas was responsible for creating compelling packaging solutions and successfully adapted the packaging approach in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, which required a shift to direct-to-consumer sales.

Most recently, Thomas joined Munchkin as the Sr. Director of Global Structural Design & Packaging Sustainability. In this role, they will lead and oversee the development of innovative packaging solutions and drive sustainability initiatives for the company.

Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated their expertise in packaging design, project management, and sustainability. Thomas has a proven track record of delivering results and exceeding expectations in the industry.

Thomas Cooper holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from Old Dominion University. Thomas also has obtained a Project Management Certification in Project Management from James Madison University.
