Allison Phelps

Allison Phelps is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in mindfulness and yoga instruction, currently serving as a Mindfulness Based Interventionist and Yoga Teacher & Mindfulness Coach at Muscatine Community School District since August 2018. Previously, Allison was the owner of Muscatine Yoga Studio, LLC from January 2014 to August 2019, and worked as a Shelter Care Worker at Muscatine Center for Social Action for a brief period in 2018. Additional experience includes a role as General Manager at Anytime Fitness from November 2012 to February 2017, where marketing programs and strategic business opportunities were a focus. Early career roles include Secretarial Assistant at Phelps the Uniform Specialists and Clerical Legal Assistant at DeWitt Ross & Stevens, as well as instructional work at La Fleur Training Stables from 2000 to 2008. Allison holds a Registered Yoga Teacher certification from Hot House Yoga and has pursued education at the University of Iowa and Kirkwood Community College.
