Eugene Williams

Eugene Williams is a seasoned leader in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, currently serving as the Chairman and Co-Founder of ProMIS™ Neurosciences, Inc. since June 2015, where the focus is on precision medicine for Alzheimer's and ALS. Eugene has been a Board Member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association since June 2018 and previously held the position of Syndicate Manager at Poliwogg, known for innovative financing in life sciences. Between 2010 and January 2014, Eugene was the Chairman and CEO of Akashi Therapeutics, Inc., a company dedicated to drug development for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Additional experience includes roles as Advisor at Red Sky Partners, LLC, Senior Vice President at Genzyme, Partner at Corporate Decisions, Associate at First Boston, and Associate at Bain & Company. Eugene holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in Economics from Harvard University.
