Curt Gruber is the AVP of Marketing & Sales at the Museum of Science and Industry. Prior to joining MSI, Curt was the Vice President of Sports & Event Marketing at KemperLesnik. In this role, they were responsible for Sports Marketing, Sponsorship Marketing/Sales/Activation, P&L, and Account Management for Fortune 500 clients.

Under Curt's leadership, KemperLesnik developed and managed the P&L for the CBS Sports Classic - a premier college-basketball event featuring teams from Kentucky, UNC, Ohio State and UCLA. In the first year, revenues increased by 20% over budget.

Curt also oversaw the rebranding of the 30-year old EA SPORTS Maui Invitational college basketball property. This included developing new brand pillars and marketing tactics. As a result, revenues increased by 10% in the first year.

Throughout their career in sports marketing, Curt has managed national sponsorship for the McDonald’s All American Games and led client-services, activation and on-site fan engagement for the Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid.

Curt Gruber has an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.S. in Philosophy from Illinois State University. Curt also has a certification from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Faculty - Marketing and another from Northwestern University in Lecturer.
