Jason Rittenberry, CVE

Jason Rittenberry has a diverse and extensive work experience in the entertainment and event management industry. Jason currently serves as the President & Chief Operating Officer of Music City Grand Prix, a three-day international festival of speed and sound featuring an INDYCAR SERIES event. Before their current role, they were the President & Chief Executive Officer of Tristar Production Group, a full-service production company in Nashville. Jason also held the position of Executive Vice President & General Manager at Moo TV, an award-winning video and live events production company.

Prior to these roles, Rittenberry was the President & Chief Executive Officer of Kentucky Venues, overseeing major convention and exhibition facilities like the Kentucky Exposition Center and the Kentucky International Convention Center. Jason also served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Circuit of The Americas, the purpose-built Grand Prix facility in Austin, Texas.

Rittenberry's experience also includes their tenure as the President & Chief Executive Officer of IRG Sports + Entertainment, a leading provider of sports and live entertainment experiences. Jason was also a key member of the International Association of Venue Managers, serving as the Chair of the Foundation Board of Trustees. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President & General Manager at Memphis Motorsports Park, a multi-use motorsports and entertainment complex.

Throughout their career, Rittenberry has demonstrated expertise in event planning, production, venue management, and strategic leadership. Jason has a strong track record of successfully organizing and managing high-profile events and has worked with renowned artists and performers.

Jason Rittenberry, CVE has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Memphis, which they obtained between 1993 and 1997. In 2009, they completed the IAVM Venue Management School at Oglebay, earning a graduate degree. In 2010, they furthered their education by completing the Academy for Venue Safety & Security (AVSS). Jason also attended the IAVM Venue Management School at Oglebay as an instructor from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Jason Rittenberry, CVE has obtained two certifications, namely the Certified Venue Executive (CVE) from the International Association of Venue Managers in July 2011, and the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) from the Certified Tourism Ambassador™ Program in June 2017.
