Orkideh Olang

Orkideh Olang has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. In 2019, they started as a Volunteer Research Assistant at The Hospital for Sick Children and later at Mutuo Health Solutions. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Physician's Assistant at Universal Interventional Pain Clinic and Doctors Urgent Care Clinic. Additionally, they served as a Medical Office Assistant at Cadence Health for a brief period in 2021. In 2021, they joined Mutuo Health Solutions again, this time in the role of Scribe and Data Annotator. Orkideh also volunteered as a Research Assistant at the Delartment of General Internal Medicine- Toronto General Hospital. In 2022, Orkideh gained hands-on clinical experience at LaSante Health Center and served as a Clinical Observer at St. Luke's University Health Network. Furthermore, they worked as a Telemedicine Assistant at Good Doctors Medical from April to September 2021. Throughout their work experience, Orkideh has demonstrated their passion for healthcare and their commitment to gaining valuable clinical and research experience.

Orkideh Olang completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, specializing in Medicine. Orkideh obtained this degree sometime before 2018. In 2020, they attended Ryerson University, where they pursued studies in Applied Clinical Research, although the degree they earned is unspecified.

In terms of additional certifications, Orkideh received certification in Endnote Fundamentals from Udemy in January 2021. In September 2018, they completed a course on Research Ethics (TCPS 2: CORE) offered by the Research Ethics Board. Moreover, they obtained certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the Heart and Stroke Foundation in July 2019.
