Orkideh Olang has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. In 2019, they started as a Volunteer Research Assistant at The Hospital for Sick Children and later at Mutuo Health Solutions. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Physician's Assistant at Universal Interventional Pain Clinic and Doctors Urgent Care Clinic. Orkideh Olang completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, specializing in Medicine. Orkideh obtained this degree sometime before 2018. In 2020, they attended Ryerson University, where they pursued studies in Applied Clinical Research, although the degree they earned is unspecified.

In terms of additional certifications, Orkideh received certification in Endnote Fundamentals from Udemy in January 2021. In September 2018, they completed a course on Research Ethics (TCPS 2: CORE) offered by the Research Ethics Board. Moreover, they obtained certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the Heart and Stroke Foundation in July 2019.
