James Isbell

James Isbell is the current Director of Analytics & Data Science at Mux. Prior to this, they served as Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead at YouTube from June 2016 to April 2021. Before that, they were with Google as a Product Analytics for Google Cloud Platform from November 2013 to June 2016.

Isbell started their career with the U.S. Department of State as a Fulbright Grantee from July 2011 to February 2012. James then worked as a Strategy Consultant at Oliver Wyman from October 2010 to October 2013. James's last position before joining Mux was as an Investment Analyst at New Providence Asset Management from June 2008 to September 2010.

James Isbell has a bachelor's degree in economics from Brown University, and they also have a certification from the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

They work with Adam Brown - Co-Founder & VP, Technology, Jessica Iyer - VP, People & Talent, and Justin Sanford - VP, Customer Experience & Solutions. James Isbell reports to Jon Dahl, Co-Founder & CEO.
