Hongyan Tu

Hongyan Tu has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of project management and software development. They started their career as an Electrical Engineer at IVL in 1989 before moving on to become a Software Designer at Programma Electric AB in 1993. At Programma Electric AB, they worked on the development of a circuit breaker test application and also served as a project manager for porting the application to Windows. In 2000, Hongyan joined Mycronic as a Software Designer in the Core development team, where they worked on data processing applications. Over the years, they progressed to the role of Senior Software Designer and then Senior Specialist, leading computer vision and software development projects. They also served as a Development Team Lead and a Project Manager at Mycronic, working on complex R&D projects and leading distributed teams. In their most recent role as a Project Manager Team Lead, Hongyan has been involved in embedding lean principles into their team's way of work.

Hongyan Tu completed a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Arizona State University. Prior to that, they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Zhejiang University.
