Lena Båvegård

SVP, Operational Excellence at Mycronic

Lena Båvegård is the SVP of Operational Excellence at Mycronic. Lena has over fifteen years of experience in Quality and Sustainability Programs, heading up global teams and managing cross-functional projects.

Lena started their career as a consultant at SymbioteQ AB in 2002. In 2005, they became the Director of Partner and Project Management at Q-Med AB. In 2011, they became the VP of Quality & Sustainability at Transmode Systems AB. In 2016, they joined Infinera as the Sr Dir Corporate Quality & Sustainability.

During their time at Infinera, Lena launched a global sustainability program which included the establishment of corporate goals and the launch of the company's first sustainability report according to GRI (Global Reporting Initiative). Lena also established a corporate wide Quality Forum to drive improvements. In 2018, they joined Mycronic as the SVP of Operational Excellence.

Lena has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Uppsala University.

Lena Båvegård is an MSc in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Lena also has certification from Prosci in Change Management and ADKAR.
