Jessica Hornick

Jessica Hornick is a Clinical Genomics Scientist at Myriad Genetics since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Director and Research Associate Professor at Northwestern University from August 2014 to July 2022, where responsibilities encompassed facility management, budget oversight, staff training, and securing funding for new instrumentation. Jessica also held positions as Operations Director and Research Assistant Professor within the Biological Imaging Facility, and as a Research Associate focused on user training and resource management. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Notre Dame, where studies concentrated on microtubule dynamics in cell division. Early career experience includes working as a Cytogenetics Technician at Northwestern Reproductive Genetics, processing fetal samples for chromosomal analysis. Jessica Hornick holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
