Chris Downs

Chris Downs is the VP of Infrastructure Operations at Mythical Games. Chris has over twelve years of experience in the games industry, with a focus on game backend design and development. Chris has worked for several companies in various positions, including DevOps Engineer, Lead Backend Engineer, and Site Reliability Engineer. Chris has a strong background in Java, C++, and C#, and has experience with Thrift RPC, Redis, Nginx, HAProxy, uWSGI, Jenkins, and Chef.

Chris Downs holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurial Studies from Xavier University. They also have certification from Cisco in Cisco Certified Network Associate.

They work with Jason Campbell - VP, Design, Chris Chen - VP, Business Operations & Planning, and Jeff Poffenbarger - EVP, Operations. Chris Downs reports to Matt Nutt, COO.
