Blake Beaupain has worked in the software engineering field since 2011. In that time, they have held various roles, including Founder and CTO at Wildcard Software Inc. from 2014 to 2015, Founder and Software Engineer at Vex Software from 2011 to 2014, Software Engineer at Marketly from 2015 to 2017, and Architecture & Development Consultant at Slalom Consulting from 2017 to 2022. At Slalom Consulting, they led the design and development for the back end of a new customer-facing image generation microservice for Amazon Web Services, using Java, Spring, AWT, Git, JUnit, PDF, and SVG. At Marketly, they cooperatively designed, developed, and operated a distributed ETL stack with C# 6/. NET Framework 4. 6, backed by Redis and MySQL 5. At Vex Software, they developed, and ran websites with Ruby on Rails on the Heroku and Dokku platforms, and built high performance backend systems utilizing non-blocking I/O with the Netty framework in Java. Blake also developed and publicly released Rack middleware under the MIT license. Blake is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Nacelle.

Blake Beaupain began their education in 2009, studying Computer Science at Highline College. Blake then moved to Pierce College at Puyallup in 2010, continuing their studies in Computer Science until 2011. In 2011, Beaupain transferred to Columbia Basin College, where they continued to study Computer Science until 2012.
