Sonja Z.m. Williams

Sonja Z.M. Williams has a diverse work experience in various fields. Sonja Z.M. currently serves as the Southern Division Immediate Past President at the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Certified Fitness Instructor at Courts Plus, Onslow Fitness, and Gold's Gym starting in 2014. Sonja also has an extensive background in education, having worked as an Educator at Onslow County Public Schools from 1988 to 2016. Sonja Z.M. was also a Visiting Instructor at N.C. A&T State University from 1987 to 1988.

Sonja Z.M. Williams pursued their education in the field of Vocal Performance. Sonja Z.M. earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts between 1981 and 1985. Later, they attended the Manhattan School of Music from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance.
