Nayeli Jaramillo-Plata

Nayeli Jaramillo-Plata has a diverse work experience in journalism and media. Nayeli currently serves as the UNC-Chapel Hill Vice President for the NAHJ (National Association of Hispanic Journalists) and works as a Student Projects Reporter for the same organization. Previously, they were an Advertising Assistant and Senior Writer for The Daily Tar Heel, gaining experience in both administrative and writing roles. Nayeli also worked as a Reporting Intern at GrepBeat and The Sampson Independent, where they further developed their reporting skills. In the future, they are set to join Bloomberg News as an intern, contributing to their professional growth in the field of journalism.

Nayeli Jaramillo-Plata's education history shows that they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2020 to 2024, majoring in Journalism. Nayeli is currently pursuing their degree at UNC's Hussman School of Journalism and Media, starting in 2020.
