Day Lancaster has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Day started their career in 1976 as an Interpreter and Purchasing Agent at Quasar Electronics Company. From there, they worked as a Sales Associate at Topri, Inc. In 1980, they joined the Georgia Department of Economic Development, where they held various roles such as Project Associate, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, and Project Manager. In 1989, they became the Managing Director at Clarke Consulting Group. In 1993, they moved to The Myrick Company as the Senior Vice President of International Services. Day then joined NAI Brannen Goddard in 2004 as the Vice President of Japan Corporate Services, and later became the Senior Vice President in the same division in 2010.
Day Lancaster attended Canadian Academy from 1968 to 1972. After that, they studied at Earlham College from 1972 to 1976, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Area Studies. Finally, they went to Georgia State University from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Executive MBA.
