Miguel Romero

Miguel Romero has a diverse work experience in the financial and insurance industries. Miguel is currently working as the Director of Property and Casualty Regulatory Services at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), where they are responsible for the development and use of macroprudential tools. Prior to this, Miguel held the role of Financial Regulatory Services Manager at NAIC, where they oversaw research and managed a project to transition regulator software. Miguel also served as a Financial Examination Manager at NAIC, leading a team in maintaining and updating the Financial Condition Examiners Handbook.

Before their time at NAIC, Miguel worked at RubinBrown LLP as an Assurance Staff, where they audited governmental, not-for-profit, and for-profit entities.
