Wasif Ul Haq

Wasif ul Haq has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Wasif began their career as a Data Acquisition Engineer at Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd from 2002 to 2006. Wasif then worked as a Core Networks Engineer at Jazz in 2007. Wasif then transitioned to du, where they held various roles from 2008 to 2022, including Senior Specialist OSS, Manager - Delivery, Release & Project, Senior Manager - Delivery, Release & Project, and finally, Senior Manager - IT Demand & Portfolio Management. In 2022, they joined Ali Zaid Al-Quraishi & Brothers as the Head of Business Relationship Management - Group IT. Currently, they are working at Nakheel as the Associate Director IT Partner Management, a position they have held since 2023.

Wasif ul Haq has a diverse education history. Wasif obtained a degree in Information Technology Project Management from Harvard University. In 2010, they pursued further education in Project Management by completing a certification program at the Cambridge Educational Institute in Dubai. Prior to that, between 2004 and 2007, they earned an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing from the University of Agriculture in Faisalabad. Wasif'sundergraduate education was in the field of Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore between 1998 and 2002.

In addition to academic qualifications, Wasif ul Haq has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Wasif completed the Working Smarter Program, powered by The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity, from FranklinCovey Middle East in November 2021. In October 2021, they achieved the Certified SAFe® 5 DevOps Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. In February 2021, they completed the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC): Harvard Management Essentials Program offered by Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning. Wasif'searliest certification, Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I), was obtained from Scrum.org in October 2018.
