Alexi Hygonenq has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Alexi is currently working as an Embedded Software Developer at Nalys and as a Software Design Engineer at Alstom, both starting in 2022. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Robotics Commissioning Engineer at Balyo from October 2018 to November 2022. Before that, they had an end-of-study internship at Airbus Helicopters, where they developed a program for calibrating a robotic arm on an avionic test bench. Alexi also worked on an end-of-study project at Simersion, designing and controlling the actuator part of a driving simulator prototype. Additionally, they completed an internship at Onegates, focusing on the industrialization of a connected door access product. In their 4th year project at ENSIL-ENSCI, they were involved in the conception, assembly, and programming of a BB8 robot.

From 2009 to 2012, they attended Louis Rascol High School and obtained Science A-levels with a focus on Engineering Sciences.
In 2012, they enrolled at Déodat de Severac High School for an intensive foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering Sciences.
From 2013 to 2015, they returned to Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Limoges for General preparatory classes.
In 2015, they resumed their studies at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Limoges and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering. Alexi'sfield of study during this time included Mechanics, Electronics, Informatics, and Control.
In 2017, they participated in an ERASMUS Semester at Politecnico di Torino, focusing on Mechatronics Engineering.
Additionally, they obtained a TOEIC 905/990 certification from the TOEIC® Program in October 2017 and a Certificat informatique et internet (C2i) from Université de Limoges in November 2015.
