Ben Peacock

Ben Peacock's work experience includes positions at NanoFCM and the University of Sheffield.

At NanoFCM, Ben has held multiple roles. Ben started as an Application Scientist in March 2019 and worked until October 2020. During this time, they were responsible for scientific applications and support. From October 2020 to June 2022, Ben served as the Head of Research at NanoFCM. In this role, they led research activities within the company.

Prior to joining NanoFCM, Ben worked at the University of Sheffield as a PHD Student from November 2014 to October 2018. Ben'sresearch project focused on characterizing extracellular vesicles released by HPV+ and HPV- oropharyngeal carcinoma cells. Ben was responsible for optimizing protocols for isolating and characterizing these vesicles, teaching these methods to others, and conducting various assays. The project resulted in publications centered on RNA sequencing and mass spectrometry data.

Ben Peacock completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at the University of Warwick from 2010 to 2013. Ben then pursued a Master of Science degree in Molecular Medicine at the University of Sheffield from 2013 to 2014.
