Carlos Gutierrez has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Carlos is currently working as the Chief Scientific Research Officer at Nanoker Research SL, where they focus on scaling laboratory processes to an industrial production level. This includes materials sintering, processing ceramic and composite materials, characterization of materials, and improvement of production and up-scaling processes. Before that, Carlos worked as a Post-Doc Researcher at the Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Centre, where they specialized in the spark plasma sintering technique. Carlos also worked as a Research and Development Researcher at ITMA Materials Technology. Carlos started their career as a PhD Student at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM - CSIC), where their research focused on composite biomaterials. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Laboratory Technician at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Carlos Gutierrez attended Universidad de Oviedo from 1994 to 2000, earning a degree in Engineering with a field of study in Chemical Engineering.
