Lorena Alba Castellon has a diverse work experience in the field of research. Lorena started their career as a student at IVIA in 2008 and later worked as a Researcher at CSIC in 2010. In 2011, they joined the Instituto Hospital del Mar de Investigaciones Médicas (IMIM) as a PhD student, where they worked until 2016. Following this, Lorena worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Barts Cancer Institute from 2017 to 2019. Lorena also worked as a Collaborator Researcher at Nanoligent and a Postdoctoral Researcher at IIB Sant Pau - Fundació Institut de Recerca Hospital de Sant Pau, both starting in 2019. Lorena's expertise lies in the field of oncogenesis and antitumor drugs research.
Lorena Alba Castellon completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the Universidad de Chile from 2003 to 2010. Lorena then pursued a Master's degree in Toxicology and Molecular Diagnostic at the same university from 2008 to 2010. Following that, Lorena obtained a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Universitat de València from 2010 to 2011. Lorena further advanced their education by completing a Research Doctorate in Biomedicine at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2011 to 2015.
