Laurence Hawkins

Laurence Hawkins, CFE, CGFM, serves as the Director of Audit Operations and Quality Assurance at NASA's Office of Inspector General since October 2009, overseeing the effective and efficient functioning of the Office of Audit through expert audit support and internal quality assurance services. Prior to this role, Laurence held positions at the USPS Office of Inspector General from January 2004 to December 2009, including Auditor-In-Charge and Manager of Organizational Alignment and Design, where responsibilities included leading complex audits and enhancing workplace flexibility through project management principles. Educational credentials include a BBA in Accounting from North Carolina Central University, completion of the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard Kennedy School in 2017, a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Studies, and a Master of Divinity in Old Testament from Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary.
