Van Knill has a strong background in partnership marketing and driver representation within the motorsports industry. They started their career at The WLB Group as an intern before moving on to roles at NASCAR, where they served as a Digital Assets Manager and later as a Producer and Productions Account Manager. Van then transitioned to Sargeant Motorsports, where they focused on driver representation. They then returned to NASCAR, initially as a Manager in Partnership Marketing before being promoted to Senior Manager and eventually Director in the same department. In 2013, Van briefly worked as the Director of Marketing and Communication for RAB Racing and Change Racing Lamborghini. Overall, Van Knill has demonstrated a commitment to the motorsports industry and has consistently taken on roles with increasing responsibility.
Van Knill attended the University of Arizona from 2003 to 2007, where they studied Communication.
