Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith began their career in 1976 as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, where they served until 1997. In 1997, they transitioned to a role as the Director of Plant Operations with the Nashua, NH School District, where their tenure continues to the present.

Shawn Smith earned a BS in Ocean Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 1976 and later pursued an MS in Ocean Engineering at the University of Rhode Island from 1982 to 1984.
