Wilson Tan Lek Wen

Wilson Tan Lek Wen is a highly experienced Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Natera since October 2022, where expertise in advanced computational methods is applied to genomic data insights and cloud-based bioinformatics pipeline development. Previously, Wilson held an AHA Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute and a Postdoctoral Scholar position at Stanford University. With a solid foundation in bioinformatics, Wilson worked at the NUS Department of Medicine and the Genome Institute of Singapore as a Bioinformatician and Bioinformatics Specialist, respectively. Early experience includes research internships focused on RNA-Sequencing data normalization and C++ programming for biological databases. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Genetics and Epigenetics and a Bachelor's degree in Computational Biology, both from the National University of Singapore.
