Maxie Di Wijertne has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2005, they worked for LB Finance PLC as a Marketing Executive until 2006. In 2007, they joined Singer Sri Lanka PLC as a District Manager, staying until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Maxie served as AGM_Marketing & Operations at Lakderana Investments Ltd. In 2017, they worked as the Head of Sales at Orient Finance PLC. From 2018 to 2022, Maxie worked at Nation lanka Finance PLC, first as the Head of Channel Development and later as the Head of Collection & Recoveries. In 2022, they joined the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency as a Director. Maxie is also a Member of the Finance Commission of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society since November 2022.
Maxie Di Wijertne completed a Master of Business Management degree with a specialization in Strategic Marketing Management from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, Maxie earned a Bachelor of Business Management degree with a specialization in Marketing from the same university. In 2006 to 2008, Maxie pursued the Strategic Professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. In the year 2000, Maxie obtained a Diploma of Accounting from the Professional Institute of Accounting, which focused on Accounting and Computer Science. Additionally, Maxie is an Ordinary Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing-SLIM and obtained this certification in October 2021. Maxie is also a CIM MCIM Member and obtained this certification from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in October 2021 as well.
