Jon Kimmel

Jon Kimmel has a diverse work experience in the workforce development and IT sectors. Jon currently works as the Director of the IT Sector Center at National Able Network, where they manage a team and supports business engagement and community outreach. Previously, Jon held the position of Director of Business Services at the same organization, leading a team of Business Services Representatives to assist employers, officials, and universities in organizing job fairs and employment events. Before joining National Able Network, Jon served as the Accounts and Careers Manager for the IT Career Lab at the organization. Furthermore, Jon gained experience as a Business Liaison at MicroTrain Technologies, where they developed relationships with employers and facilitated connections between graduates and decision-makers. Jon also worked as a Technical Recruiter for contract roles and an IT Recruiter for ICONMA and Crystal Equation Corporation, focusing on recruiting in various technology sectors. Jon began their career at Enova Financial as a Customer Service Representative and gained valuable experience in customer service and training. Jon also worked at Meijer during their college years, starting as a shelf stocker and eventually becoming a Senior Inventory Analyst.

Jon Kimmel completed their undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University, earning a BS degree in Anthropology and Philosophy in 2007. Additionally, they have also attended Microtrain and the Cisco Networking Academy, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for these programs.
