Laurie Ray

Laurie Ray, DNP, WHNP-BC, currently serves as a Quality Assurance Clinician Consultant for the National Abortion Federation and holds several positions at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University, including Assistant Clinical Professor, Senior Clinical Instructor, and Adjunct Instructor. As a Nurse Practitioner at Planned Parenthood Southeast, Inc. since July 2019, Laurie Ray has significant clinical experience, previously working at Montefiore Health System and NYC Health + Hospitals | Harlem, where emphasis was placed on women's health, infectious disease, and reproductive health services. In addition to clinical roles, Laurie Ray has contributed as a Women's Health Curriculum Consultant for the United Nations and as a Science Writer for Clue by Biowink, focusing on female health topics. Educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Emory University, an MS in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, and a BS in Nursing from Columbia University, complemented by a BA in Women's Studies and Chemistry from Emory University.
