Ibrahim Z. Konaté is currently an Emerging Leaders of Color Fellow at NASHP and a Project Manager at Lyfebulb. Prior to this, Ibrahim worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Mount Sinai Health System, a Public Health Advisor at NYC Health + Hospitals, an Advocacy Intern at Physicians for Human Rights, a Graduate Student Researcher at Cochrane, a Graduate Student Intern at Human Rights Watch, an Alumni Association Intern at Virginia Tech, and a Biochemistry student researcher and peer mentor at Virginia Tech. Ibrahim holds an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech, and graduated from Blacksburg High School.
