Don Applyrs

Don Applyrs, Ed.D, currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Engagement and Managing Director of Network Expansion at NAF, a national network aimed at preparing high school students for college and careers. Previous roles include Director of Program Development and Community Initiatives at the New York State Department of Labor, and Director of Family and Community Engagement at the New York State Education Department. Don also contributed to the KIPP organization as Founding Associate School Leader at KIPP: TECH VALLEY Primary Charter School and as School Principal at KIPP: TECH VALLEY Charter School. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University and a Master of Library & Information Science from the University at Albany.
