Wanda Montalvo, PhD, RN, FAAN has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they serve as the Director of Evidence-Based and Integration Strategy at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), where they are responsible for developing and implementing clinical quality and integration strategies. Wanda is also a Senior Fellow and Team Lead for Public Health Integration and Innovation at NACHC.

Prior to their role at NACHC, Dr. Montalvo was involved in various leadership roles and initiatives. Wanda co-created and organized Nursing Mutual Aid, a virtual platform and community for nurses to share knowledge and support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Wanda also worked as a Principal Consultant at Montalvo Consulting, specializing in health policy, research, and program design.

In addition, Dr. Montalvo served as the Executive Director and Assistant Professor at Jonas Nurse & Veterans Healthcare, where they led strategic planning and partnership development. Wanda also worked as an Associate Director at the Weitzman Institute, overseeing research projects in primary care.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Montalvo was the Clinical Director for the NYS Diabetes Campaign sponsored by the New York State Health Foundation. Wanda also held the position of Chief Clinical Director at the Community Health Care Association of New York State.

Throughout their career, Dr. Montalvo has been recognized for their expertise and commitment to nursing. Wanda is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) and has been involved in peer mentoring programs through the RWJF Executive Nurse Fellows.

Wanda Montalvo, PhD, RN, FAAN has an extensive educational background in nursing. Wanda obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Nursing from INACTIVE-1703030558-LIU Brooklyn, where they studied from 1996 to 1998.
