Abby Davidson

Abby Davidson serves as the Director of Research, Policy, and Governance Studies at the National Association of Counties since March 2025. Previously, Abby held various positions at The Aspen Institute from January 2016 to April 2025, including Director of Research and Impact and Research Manager within the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs. Additionally, Abby contributed as a Board Member for Innovations in Peacebuilding International from February 2021 to August 2024 and co-founded Markham & Fitz Chocolate, overseeing operations from April 2014 to May 2017. Early career experiences include research assistant roles at the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. Abby earned a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Arkansas in 2014 and a Bachelor's Degree in International Economics and Business in 2010.
