John Avgeris

John Avgeris has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. John currently holds the position of Head of Financial Institutions at the National Bank of Greece. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Financial Institutions & Correspondent Banking at ATTICA BANK. John has also worked as a Senior Banking Consultant at Accenture Greece and as an Associate Director at HSBC France S.A. Before that, they held various roles at HSBC, including Associate and Analyst in the Financial Institutions, Global Banking department. John's earlier experience includes roles as a Client Relationship Manager and Client Relationship Officer at HSBC plc Bank, and as a Corporate Actions Officer at HSBC plc Bank.

John Avgeris has completed an MBA in Financial Engineering from Athens University of Economics and Business. John also holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the same institution. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the Bank of Greece, specifically the a1 and a2 levels, in 2011.
