Bryan Tysinger

Bryan Tysinger is a Research Economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research since March 2023 and a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California since January 2019. Tysinger has held multiple leadership roles including Director of Health Policy Microsimulation and Director of Simulation and Data at the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, where involvement has extended since November 2011. Prior experience includes work as a Doctoral Fellow at the RAND Corporation from 2003 to November 2010. Tysinger holds a Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School, attained in May 2021, and previously earned a Master's in Policy Analysis from the same institution (2001-2003) and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College (1997-2001).
