Emilie Ritter has a diverse background in communications and journalism. Emilie is currently serving as the Director of Communications & Development at the National Center for Appropriate Technology. Prior to this role, they founded Rooted Solutions in 2016. Emilie also held the position of Director of Communications & Public Affairs at the Montana Department of Commerce from 2017 to 2021, where they led a team and implemented various communication strategies.
