Leroy Thomas

Leroy Thomas has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Leroy most recently served as the Communications Director at the National Center for Transgender Equality starting in December 2021. Prior to that, Leroy worked as the Digital Media Manager for the same organization from July 2021 to December 2021. Before joining the National Center for Transgender Equality, Leroy held the position of Communications and Development Manager at FEEST from March 2018 to June 2021. Leroy also worked as the Communications & Publications Manager at Grantmakers in the Arts from February 2016 to January 2018. Leroy has experience as a Freelance Writer for The Seattle Globalist from December 2015 to June 2016. Additionally, they have worked at Nature Consortium as both a Marketing & Communications Manager from an unknown date in 2012 to 2015 and as an Outreach & Media Coordinator from an unknown date in 2009 to 2012. Leroy has also served as a Community Organizer at Queer Youth Space in 2009-2010. Furthermore, they worked as an Educator at Revelry Media and Methods from 2008 to 2010. As an Audio Engineer Intern at Kirkland Teen Union Building, Leroy gained experience in 2007-2008. Lastly, Leroy began their career as an Office Assistant at A Suite Break: day spa & educational nook in 2005-2008.
