Jami Westerhold

As Deputy Executive Director, Jami Westerhold oversees the finance, operations, human resources, and development at NCTE. Jami previously served as the organization’s Director of Development coordinating all aspects of fundraising including engaging individual donors, foundation proposals, corporate partnerships, and fundraising events. Jami has worked in the nonprofit and government sectors for more than 15 years. Her role has varied covering human resources and finances, programmatic development and management, community advocacy, data visualization, and fundraising. Jami also has the unique distinction of serving on both sides of the aisle in the U.S. Senate.

Jami earned a Master of Environmental Law and Policy and Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies from Green Mountain College.
