Seema Agnani is a seasoned leader in community development and advocacy with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development since January 2015, Seema has previously held key roles, including Executive Director at Chhaya Community Development Corporation, where efforts focused on housing rights and civic participation for South Asians and new immigrants. Other notable positions include coordinating consultant for the Fund for New Citizens at The New York Community Trust, Director of Training and Technical Assistance at Citizens Committee for New York City, and various roles at Asian Americans for Equality, emphasizing policy advocacy and fundraising. Seema holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Public Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
