Amal Tawfik

Amal Tawfik's work experience includes serving as the Director of the Women Complain Office at the National Council for Women (NCW) since September 2018. In this role, they are responsible for enhancing the practice of women's rights in Egypt and representing the link between Egyptian women and the NCW to ensure their rights are met. Amal provides women with social, psychological, and legal counsel, as well as conducts awareness activities for prevention. Prior to this role, Amal served as the Executive Director at the NCW from November 2000 to March 2023. Additionally, they worked as a Gender Specialist at NCW from November 2000 to March 2023.

Amal Tawfik obtained a Master's degree in Women's Studies from EHWA Woman's University, graduating in 2016.
