Erich V. Zorn

Erich V. Zorn, PhD, PG, currently serves as a Research Geoscientist and Project Manager at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, leading the Geoanalysis and Monitoring Team within the Geology & Environmental Systems Directorate. With extensive experience in geoscience and project management, Erich has held key positions including Program Manager for Geohazards at DiGioia Gray, and various roles at the National Energy Technology Laboratory and Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, where involvement focused on energy security and unconventional resource development. A recognized Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania and New York, Erich's academic credentials include a PhD in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh, complemented by multiple continuing education courses in engineering.
